2008 Tour Dates and Rates
The dates for this season’s United States Youth Chorale, String and Wind Ensembles European Tour are:
June 28 – July 15, 2008.
The cost of the 2008 tour is $4500.00 per person.*
TOUR INCLUSIONS
• Three days of intensive rehearsals and orientation at The Governor’s Academy in Byfield, Massachusetts
• Round-trip air transportation via scheduled airline from Boston to Frankfurt
• All international air taxes
• Transportation via private deluxe air-conditioned motorcoach throughout the itinerary
• Accommodations in centrally located, superior tourist-category hotels
• Eighteen breakfasts, four lunches and eighteen dinners, including Farewell Dinner in Bingen on board Rhine Cruise
• Concert performances as listed in the itinerary, complete with publicity and promotion, as well as impromptu concerts where applicable with music supplied in advance of the tour
• Special guided tours with English-speaking guides in Dinkelsbuhl, Paris and Antwerp
• Seine River Cruise in Paris and Rhine River Cruise in Bingen
• All tips and taxes relative to housing and meal arrangements
• Compact Disc Recording of the concert in La Chauxde- Fonds
• One large photographic portrait of the ensemble
• Full-time American registered nurse to handle medical situations throughout the tour
• Minimum of one staff person for every twelve students
• On-tour printed “MiniGuide” with historical, geographical and cultural information about each stop as well as practical information to maximize activities at each location
• Pre-tour 12-page planning guide
• USYE Tour Yearbook including photos & profiles of all participants

All other Expenses of a Purely Personal Nature
SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS
$75.00 Application Fee, due upon submission of Application Form. This fee, to cover administrative costs, is fully refundable to those not accepted for participation in the tour. It is not part of the tour price.
$250.00 non-refundable initial deposit is due immediately upon notice of acceptance.
A schedule for further payments will be sent upon acceptance.

The Tour Operator, Pathfinders Travel, Inc., 8 West Eighth Street, Holland, Michigan and the U.S. Youth Ensembles, Inc., act only as agent for the various companies whose services and accommodations are made available in the arrangements included in the tour outlined in this brochure. The foregoing assume no responsibility or liability in connection with the services in or on any vessel, train, hotel, motorcraft, aircraft or other conveyance which is used, either wholly or in part, in the performance of its duty to the passenger. In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable, for any reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers, conversely, refund will be made to the passengers if any savings is effected, thereby. The right is reserved to withdraw tour or any portion of same, should circumstances warrant this action. All arrangements for accommodations and sightseeing are made by the Tour Operator and-or their agents. Participating airlines are not to be held responsible for any act; omission or event, during the time the passengers are not on board their aircraft or conveyances. Payment of any deposit toward final balance on the cost of arrangements described in this folder or any other material of any sort mentioning this folder of its contents signifies acceptance on the part of the purchaser of all the terms and conditions as set forth in this folder and further signifies understanding and acceptance, on the part of said purchaser and/or passenger of the limitation of the Airline’s responsibility to the terms and conditions set forth in the jacket of the passage contract (air ticket) issued.
